Being an undertaker often comes with foreign reactions, superstitions, and misconceptions. Many see it as a job for the “leftovers,” a profession that involves getting our hands dirty. While there is some truth to that, at Eternity, we persevere to do so much more—we get our hearts involved, offering compassion, love, patience, and unwavering dedication to grieving families.
My journey began years ago when I worked with undertakers for side income. A friend, a doctor at a public hospital, once called me about a grieving widow with an 11-year-old child who had just lost her husband. Beyond her grief, she was overwhelmed by the cost of a funeral she couldn’t afford. Despite my connections, I couldn’t find an undertaker willing to offer a proper send-off without payment. Their idea of “goodwill” was simply picking up the body and cremation it- “Angkat Case” as the call it—a mere clearance job.
That moment changed everything. I knew funerals had to mean more. With years of industry experience and a heart to serve, I founded Eternity Funeral Services, now officially appointed by the State of Selangor as the leading undertaker for the B40 community, offering FREE funerals for people can now “Rest Easy, We’ve Got Their Backs”
